The main body washes the wall in a warm ambient glow, the kind that makes a bedroom feel settled at the end of the day. Then there's the brass reading spot, a second independent light that rotates a full 350 degrees, so you can drop a focused beam onto your book while the rest of the room stays dim. One person reads, the other sleeps. Nobody reaches for the ceiling light.
