Do I need an electrician?
Not necessarily. The hardwired models connect to your existing wall wiring, which is a straightforward DIY job if you have the basic tools and know your way around a wall connection. If you would rather not touch the wiring yourself, any electrician will have it up in under an hour. The rechargeable models need nobody at all: press the adhesive plate onto the wall, snap the magnetic light body on, and you are done in thirty seconds.
Will the adhesive mount damage my wall?
No. It holds on smooth surfaces such as painted walls, tile, wood, glass and marble, and comes away cleanly. It will not hold on wallpaper, textured render or fabric, so pick a smooth spot and press firmly for best results.
Can I use these if I rent?
Yes, that is exactly what the rechargeable range is for. No holes, no wiring, no landlord conversation. Lift the light off whenever you move and take it with you.
How do I charge it, and how often?
Lift the body off the magnetic plate with one hand, plug in the included USB type-C cable, and snap it back on when it is topped up. How often depends on which brightness and colour setting you use, but for typical evening use it is a matter of weeks between charges, not days.
How bright is it, and will it glare?
Bright enough to light a room on its own, gentle enough to sit beside your bed. Every fixture runs its LED behind a diffused acrylic cover, so the light spreads softly across the wall instead of shining straight into your eyes. Exact wattage varies by model and size, and is listed in the specifications on each product page.
What is the difference between the light temperatures?
3000K is warm and golden, best for evenings and bedrooms. 4000K is a natural neutral white, good for living areas. 6000K is crisp and daylight-like, best for mirrors, getting ready and working. Most fixtures switch between all three, and some models are available in a fixed warm 3000K version for anyone who only wants that soft evening glow. Do the LEDs need replacing?
Not for a very long time. They are rated for over 50,000 hours, which is more than a decade of normal evening use, and there is no bulb to change.
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
We ship worldwide with our main markets being the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Delivery time depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout. Free economy shipping is our budget option and can take 30 days or more, so it suits anyone happy to wait for a lower total. Faster paid options typically arrive in 5 to 15 days after fulfilment depending on your exact location.
